All Leveler for Nov 2024--Cathie C!

1. How long have you been doing CrossFit? What got you started? I started Crossfit a year ago this November.  Truthfully, I was not socializing very much and working out at home without results.  I did some research online and felt like Crossfit would be a perfect fit.                        

2. What aspect of our core values of authentic, driven, and inclusive do you relate to the most? Why? Definitely the inclusive aspect of All Level Crossfit was what drew me in.  I have several medical issues which at times limit my ability physically and mentally.  I absolutely love the fact that there is nothing that cannot be made doable by the coaches coming up with scaling ideas.  The kindness and acceptance from all the coaches and athletes is beyond amazing.  

3. What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym? I actually look forward to the WODs everyday!!! Truthfully, it gives me time to shut off and just think of surviving. I also look forward to the people, the acceptance and of course the challange.                          

4. What is your favourite memory at All Level CrossFit? My favourite memory is volunteering for the Intellectual Crossfit Open at our gym.  The determination and spirit of the athletes was beyond words. I had so much fun and look forward to being part of that experience again.          

5. What goals have you set for yourself in CrossFit that you’ve successfully achieved? What are your current goals? Holy shamolly!!! I have lots of goals in Crossfit!!! I have achieved so many this year with the help of the coaches and new friends at All Level.  I actually can lift more than a PVC over my head now!! My PR is 60lbs going for 90 by next November.  Anything involving squats and lunges are getting so much better. I actually kind of like burpees now, and the bike.  My current goals are to gain more coordination, mobility and strength.
