1.) What got you started in CrossFit? How did you hear about it?
I have had PCOS for a long time now. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women. I had undergone a lot of treatments for it. And my OBGYN always suggested that I would have PCOS all my life but the only way to keep in check or even manage it is if I workout consistently and have a good diet. The hard part about having PCOS is it becomes much harder for PCOS patients to lose weight as there is excess insulin produced in the body. And although I was never overweight or obese, I would continuously be facing health challenges to due PCOS. I had tried pretty much everything from regular cardio, Zumba, HIT etc. CrossFit was something that I heard about from my friends and I thought I should give it a go.
