Pelvic Floor Seminar

Pelvic floor dysfunctions are incredibly common and often overlooked/brushed off as ‘normal’.
What does this mean? Here are the more common signs your pelvic floor isn’t working like it should:

– Urinary leakage (even if it’s just a little… even if it’s just with jumping, laughing, sneezing, etc.)
– Urinary urgency (do you always have to know where the washrooms are?)
– Pelvic pain (abdominal, tailbone, painful urination, hip, pain with sex, testicular pain, painful periods, chronic low back pain, bloating, constipation, prolapse)

Who can experience a pelvic floor dysfunction?

– In short, anyone can. Both women and men (of all ages – including women who have never had children) can experience pelvic health issues.

It’s important to know that you’re not alone. Did you know that 1 in 2 (50%) of women who exercise experience urinary leakage?! You don’t have to “just live with it” or constantly modify your workout to avoid leaking or pelvic pain.
