NUTRITION CHALLENGE COMING OUR WAY!And it’s OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (not only gym members)!.We’ve partnered with OptimizeMe Nutrition to run The 800 Gram Challenge. This year has brought some unexpected hurdles and a lot of us have struggled to keep our nutrition in check… so let’s get back on track together..The 800 Gram Challenge will run from Monday, October 19th to Sunday, November 15th (a week after Thanksgiving ). The 800 Gram Challenge is used as a tool to help guide healthy eating. It provides a simple method to make sure we hit a healthy daily dose of fruits and vegetables. As a result, people experience weight loss, better performance, improved recovery, and a better relationship with food..Here’s how it will play out throughout the month:

  • Eat 800 grams (g) of fruits and/or vegetables, by weight, a day.
  • No foods are restricted during the challenge; you continue to eat whatever else you want.
  • You pick which fruits and vegetables to eat, and you can weigh them cooked, canned (drained), frozen, or fresh.

Accountability is going to be a big one here! It’s easier to stick to a plan when we have others holding us accountable (sort of like pushing each other to the end of a workout).
